Recently, our association accepted a bid from Dry Docker to build us a new 8 slip stall dock. Before deciding on Dry Docker we got bids from 3 other dock builders. We chose Dry Docker because we felt that their quality of construction was excellent! We feel that several of their fabrication methods are designed for rough water environment, which should add to the longevity and stability of our dock. Their vertical uprights are welded into pockets within the walk area (not mounted inside the actual slip itself). Dry Docker provides overhead bracing, a center roof support system and heavy-duty winch stands among other things. We are very happy with the dock they have built for us with the optional concrete decking, a 6′ center walkway and underwater bracing. We have also been very happy with the service Dry Docker has provided. They have been very easy to work with and willing to accommodate everyone’s needs. We would highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new dock. We are looking forward to many, many years of use and enjoyment out of our new Dry Docker Dock!
Sunset Cove Community Boat Dock #3 Branson, Missouri. I have been Captain of our dock from the time it went into Table Rock Lake some 15 years ago. Dry Docker has over the years installed the following for us: A 62ft by 24ft swim and sun concrete pad extension with roof with 2 boat slips. A 54ft by 12ft concrete swim extension with roof. A 64ft walking ramp extension. 2 winches, cable, and anchors. 3 new replacement cables and anchors. Numerous powered boat lifts for our 20 slips. A total replacement of all our original white foam flotation with the new 20-inch black encapsulated foam this past summer 2009. Their crew of workers are clean, polite and have great work ethics. It has been a real pleasure to work with them in the past, and I am sure we will again in the future. Give them a call, you will be happy you did.
When I started investigating the unholy process of getting a dock put in, I contacted every dock builder in the area I could find. Some were arrogant. Some didn’t return phone calls or emails for days. I was very frustrated, but Dry Docker responded with a return call the same afternoon. I then visited four of the builders and visited Dry Docker twice. I found that, out of all I had contacted, Dry Docker was the most friendly, responsive and helpful. They assisted me with the Corps paperwork and listened to my needs and requirements. Throughout the whole process, Ruth and her husband, and their son Chris were always available to answer questions and provide guidance. I wanted an extra high roof to allow boats on lifts to have their bimini up and to accommodate 30′ double-decker pontoon boats on a lift. No problem. They put in 12 of the 20 slips on time and at the price we agreed on. Our dock looks beautiful. Since the original 12 slips, we have added 4 more plus bar tables, slip lockers, a gated entrance and additional anchors. It goes without saying that Dry Docker has met or exceeded my expectations for quality and value every time. Anyone considering Dry Docker is welcome to call me and visit our dock to see an example of quality craftsmanship. I have and will continue to recommend Dry Docker to potential dock owners, private or commercial.
